Mbale's "Jews" celebrate passover

This community, which is found in the eastern Uganda district of Mbale, is comprised of the ancestors of indigenous Ugandans who were introduced to Judaism in the early 20th century

A Jewish community in Uganda, known Abayudaya, have observed the Passover as a commemoration of emancipation by God's emancipation of the Jews from slavery in Egypt.

This community, which is found in the eastern Uganda district of Mbale, is comprised of the ancestors of indigenous Ugandans who were introduced to Judaism in the early 20th century.

The celebration was at Nabugoya Hill in Mbale district.
