Silk Road House
Organizer of Jewish Tales from the Silk Road

The Silk Road House is dedicated to the arts of Central Asia. It was created in 2007 to host arts activities that bring to life the traditions of the Silk Road here in California, and to celebrate the Silk Road's renowned hospitality. We promote and support the traditions of Central Asia; provide Central Asians a place to gather in a country that knows little about their cultures of origin; and serve as a welcoming space for Americans to experience the history, culture, and everyday life of these countries. Our core community is made up of emigres from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
