Camp Be'chol Lashon Staff Descriptions
Camp Be’chol Lashon Kochavim (“Stars”)
Age: entering 9th grade
The oldest of all campers, this group of teens benefit from all that camp has to offer swimming, hanging with friends, sports…the difference is that this year you have more freedom and more choice in how to spend your day. You will also have the opportunity to begin participating in the planning and hosting of camp events for the younger participants. This is your summer of relaxation before you take on the responsibility of becoming a C.I.T. next year.
Camp Be’chol Lashon Counselor in Training (CIT)
Age: enterting 10th, 11th and 12th grades
As a CBL CIT you are the bridge between the campers and the senior staff. You will benefit from receiving mentorship from a senior staff member as well as becoming a mentor to a camper. The responsibility you take on at camp will be customized to your personal interests. CITs will develop friendships with other CITs while enjoying all of the benefits that CBL has to offer including free time to socialize, sports, art, swimming, dances, performing arts and so much more.
All CIT’s pay program fees. Generous camperships available, please inquire.
Camp Be’chol Lashon Cabin Staff
Age: post high school, 18 and older
Camp Be’chol Lashon Cabin Staff join campers throughout their camp experience. Cabin Staff supervise living quarters, participate in all activities, uphold all of the rules and regulations of camp, support specialists and help campers develop a positive, confident Global Jewish Identity. Campers look to Cabin Staff as their primary source of support. Cabin Staff are considered an integral element of CBL success and our Senior Staff rely on them for excellent communication skills and their participation in planning CBL’s schedule and events.
Pay starts at $1000 for July 25 – Aug 8, DOE
Camp Be’chol Lashon Senior Staff
Senior Staff are made up of a group of professionals who work year round to develop innovative, current and relevant programming. All Senior Staff are committed and excited to participate in summer programming. Senior Staff are present at camp as specialist in the field of their expertise.
